Candle Care

Thank you for bringing a little warmth from Warm Wick Candle Company into your home. Proper candle care helps your candle burn cleaner, last longer, and fill your space beautifully.

Before Lighting

  • Trim your wick to 1/4 inch before each burn
  • Place candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface
  • Keep away from drafts, fans, curtains, pets, and children

First Burn Matters

Allow the wax to melt evenly across the entire top surface during the first burn. This helps prevent tunneling and creates an even burn throughout the life of your candle.

Recommended first burn time:

  • Approximately 2–4 hours

Burn Safely

  • Never leave a burning candle unattended
  • Do not burn longer than 4 hours at a time
  • Keep candle away from anything flammable
  • Stop burning when about 1/2 inch of wax remains

After Each Burn

  • Allow candle to cool completely before relighting
  • Re-center wick if needed while wax is soft
  • Keep wax free of debris such as wick trimmings or matches

Reuse Your Jar

Once your candle is finished:

  1. Allow remaining wax to harden
  2. Remove leftover wax carefully
  3. Wash jar with warm soapy water
  4. Reuse for decor, plants, office supplies, or keepsakes

Warm Weather Shipping

During warmer months, candles may soften during transit. Allow your candle to return to room temperature before opening or lighting.
